After many attempts to get them to stop sending me mortgage refinance offers and progressively threatening letters, one of their lawyers sent me a letter telling me that they could send me solicitations if they wanted to. I sent them a letter with the full analysis of the law and I didn’t receive any more solicitations from them. These people initially claimed that they had no control over whether or not I got the offers.
This was my funniest experience in this quest. The first time I received a mailer from them I sent them a postcard. The second time I sent them a letter informing them of the law and again asking them to stop. The third time I threatened to file a prohibitory order and told them the nature of the prohibitory order and told them that it would contain language about erotic materials. The fourth time I file a prohibitory order and sent them a letter letting them know that I did so, and again informing them as to the nature of the prohibitory order and its reference to erotic materials. Are you getting the picture here? Well, they apparently didn’t. The found my phone number and left me a message. I sent them another letter and that is the last I heard from them.
They were happy to help and they did what they said they would do. When I started getting their flyers without an address card they explained why it might be happening and suggested I put a note on my mailbox for the postal carrier.
Isn’t it sad that after all I have done, only one company really stands out as deserving praise?
